Anti-Slip Without Compromise

Finally, a rubber yoga mat that truly understands what anti-slip means. The GECO has 78% more dry grip than what you’re used to. That means no sliding, no shifting, just pure grip from start to finish. Whether you’re flowing through a sweaty practice or holding Warrior III for an hour, this mat keeps you steady.

Other brands tell you their rubber mats are biodegradable. We stick to the facts: rubber doesn’t simply break down in nature. That’s why we made the GECO 100% recyclable. Since 2020, we’ve already recycled more than 2,300 rubber mats and turned them into new ones. No greenwashing talk, just real impact.

Double-Sided Use

Both sides of the GECO are identically made of latex. Why use only one side? Switch between top and bottom, and your mat lasts twice as long. Simple, smart, and still the same grip on both sides.

Use & Care

Useful tips:

When first out of packaging, the GECO has a rubber smell that will dissipate with time and increased air exposure. Prior to initial use, we recommend leaving your mat to air out overnight in a well-ventilated, dry room.

Wash your hands with soap and water before using your GECO mat. It is essential to remove natural oils or hand cream etcetera because this will cause slippage.

Latex rubber is sensitive to weather conditions. Long exposure to direct or indirect sunlight and high humidity causes it to oxidize. This process can lighten the color of the latex and create fine white deposits on its surface.
To remove the fine white deposits, simply wash the latex surface with a soft cloth, some fresh water, a drop of organic soap, and a teaspoon of natural vinegar. Wipe the surface clean with a cloth and fresh water. Leave the mat flat on the floor to fully dry.

Practising yoga alternately on each side of the mat extends the lifespan of your GECO mat.

To store:

After a yoga practice or workout, always roll your mat with the top surface with the logo facing outwards. The rolled mat should be stored in a yoga mat bag, away from direct or indirect sunlight. Minimizing sunlight exposure will extend the life of your mat.

To clean:

For a quick cleaning after every practice, simply wipe the surface of your mat with a moist cloth. Leave the mat flat on the floor to dry. On occasion for deeper cleaning, use a mild organic detergent or soap (no solvents, no harsh abrasives). Omit the logo area to prevent degradation. Wipe the surface clean with a cloth and fresh water. Leave the mat flat on the floor to fully dry. Alternatively, carefully rinse the surface in the tub or shower without soaking or submerging your mat.
