What is a Sticky yoga mat?

Sticky yoga mats have a non-slip and sticky surface. This gives you a better grip and makes you less likely to slip while performing yoga exercises.

Sticky yoga mats are often made of PVC. At KURMA, we use the most eco-friendly PVC type available, as with the Fold-N-Flow and the Spezial and Extra, favoured by Iyengar yoga teachers worldwide. The yoga mats are also 100% recyclable.

Please note that PVC mats can become slippery when wet. If you regularly sweat or are prone to sweaty hands, we recommend using the yoga mat in combination with a yoga towel.

Is a Sticky Yoga mat suitable for me?

Do you do a lot of static exercises? Then the sticky yoga mat is perfect for you. The yoga mat ensures that you stand firmly a lot and your hands or feet do not slip during balance exercises.
